Katelyn Kozak, RVT
Katelyn graduated the Lakeland College AHT program in 2011 and started working at the vet hospital straight out of college. She has a lot of experience with cattle and enjoys working with small animals. Katelyn grew up on a dairy farm near New Sarepta and is still very involved with the farm and even owns many cattle of her own, with plans of taking over the family farm in the future. She likes to show dairy cattle and promote the Holstein breed, especially Red and White Holsteins! When not working, she likes to spend time with family, friends and catch up on relaxing days off when possible!
Brie Smith, RVT
Brie graduated from Lakeland College from the Registered Animal Health Tech (RAHT) program in 2014. She has also received her Veterinary Medical Receptionist (VMR, 2011) and Veterinary Technical Assistant (VTA, 2012) certificates from Olds College. Brie has been surrounded by various animal her whole life, growing up on a cow/calf and feedlot farm west of Edmonton, 9 years of 4H involvement, and 9 years of owning/operating her own mobile petting zoo from 12 years old. She has 2 Ragdoll rescue cats (Zoey and Lou Lou), 1 Foster Fail Kitten (Mitzii), 1 Catahoula Leopard Rescue dog (Rio), and 4 miniature Donkeys (Crimson, Clover, Dusty, and Gracie). In her spare time you can find Brie working at her feedlot or on the farm, or travelling somewhere around the world.
Kendall Hooge, RVT
Kendall just joined our team after graduating from the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT, class of 2017! When she is not working, Kendall enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, family and her two dogs. She likes to go horseback riding, cooking and traveling to different places. Kendall is very excited to start her career as a RVT at The Pet Hospital and The Farm Animal Hospital.
